Italian Design Gold

The Compasso d’Oro Prize has left Milan for the very first time and has moved to Turin, the World Design Capital for 2008.

The Reggia di Venaria Reale will be hosting the “Oro del Design Italiano”event, which consists of two exhibitions: the historical Compasso d'Oro show, in which a collection of Italian design between 1954 and 2004 is showcased, and the exhibition specifically created to mark the XXI Edition of the prize, where 150 present-day items which anticipate and influence the future are displayed.

The Compasso d'Oro Prize award ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 26th June, between the two exhibitions.

The ADI (Association for Industrial Design) Foundation has chosen iGuzzini as its partner for lighting technology:: Cestello floor lamps and various projectors created by our company cast their light over fifty years of creativity and innovation.
